Though I do stay up to date on national events, my focus is on state (all 50 of them) and even more local than that often. What I refer to as the 'forgotten country' or 'the undefended country'. GOD, Family, Community, Country. The out of place word in that phrase is not wrong. Just forgotten from it. Lost popularity.
Our real town squares are being lost to virtual digital town squares. With it our loss of community and identity. Connect nationally fine. But it should not over balance connections where we live.
