ON THAT DAY

My love for God began on the day my heart wanted to repent so I could go to Heaven. I was told about a man named Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God. He came down from Heaven seeking those who are lost. I was told that only through Him I’ll receive forgiveness. I was told if I believed in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and I accepted Him as my Lord and my Savior, He’d forgive me. Then God will give me His most precious gift of Salvation.  See> (Luke 19:10) 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Also refer to (John 3:15-18)

It was on that day I sought out this Jesus Christ, through prayer. I repented and confessed my sins to Him.  I believed He is the Son of God, the Savior for all who are lost and sought-after Salvation. I was told about Jesus Christ, I loved Him, and I accepted Him into my life as my Lord and my Savior. Jesus came into my life that day and He still lives in my heart today. See> (Inside my heart) Then my God created in me a new man. See> (2 Corinthians 5:21) 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

I was no longer conformed to the darkness of this world, for my mind was renewed. I began to live more righteously, for my Father God accepted me because I began to live my new life in accordance to His will. See> (Romans 12:2) 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

My Final thoughts
As my new life with Christ proceeded onward, I often found myself straying from living righteously. Today I still do because I’m far from perfect which is all the more reason, I can never stop trusting in my Father God’s word which tells me that my Lord will teach and guide me. So far folks, my Lord has never failed me. See> (Psalm 32:8) 8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Today I trust my Lord's advice when making my decisions, and so far, my Lord has never failed me. See> (Proverbs 3:5-6) 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Let us all pray
Dear Lord. This morning we pray for those whose seeking their salvation, yet they don’t know how to go about doing so, to find one of us or another child of God, to help them find you Lord. We pray this in your name Jesus Christ, amen.
