THE GIVER OF PEACE

I cannot express to everyone how important it is for them to stay focused on Jesus Christ if they want peace in their lives. So many people of the world today and throughout history have struggled with maintaining peace with each other, because they don’t believe in God. With nations hating each other, rather to the point they believe peace is no longer an option. People have steered away from the peace God has given us due to the increase of crime, violence and racism. No matter where you live the of peace seems to be a direct result from folks doubting, and not trusting in the word of God. This is not how God wants things to be, with Him our hearts would not be troubled with hate and racism against one another, if we kept our minds “focused" on God's plan for us. Why? because we would trust in the peace we have through Jesus Christ. See> (Isaiah 26-3) 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee

Most true Christians in today’s world don’t struggle with the lack of peace that’s running rapid in the world. Why? Because the grip of their sins has been taken away. How? Because their faith and belief in Christ led them to confess their sins to Christ, therefore removing the guilt and penalty of sin. The result is simple, Christians have peace with God through their Lord Jesus Christ. See> (Romans 5:1) 5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

My Final thoughts
Jesus gave His followers peace, so their hearts are not troubled nor afraid. See> (John 14:27) 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid… Today’s Christians can only maintain the peace Jesus gave them by staying focused on God, His word, and living a righteous life. When they do this all the crime, violence, and racism will not affect them, for their hearts and minds are focused on God and not things of the world, amen.

Let us all pray
Dear Lord, this morning we ask that you help us stay focused on you. If we don’t keep our minds on you, our hearts will lose the peace you have given us. We would fall into the conflicts of this world that you’ve helped us avoid. We understand our peace comes from trusting in our faith in you. We know that in order to live peacefully among mankind depends on keeping you in our hearts and minds. In your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.

(Romans 12:18) 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
