CHURCH


Millions of people are going to church every Sunday, many of them only go to church because it’s been their family tradition for hundreds of years, so they continue going. Most of them are hearing God's word, yet their thoughts were elsewhere. At the end of the service their lives were not changed, and they still don't know who Jesus truly was. The Result is, they'd only gone to a church. Other folks go to church because they have friends there and they enjoy some of the church functions. Others go to church to impress someone or other family members even though they do not believe, they just go... Other folks go to church because God has His teachers there, so it's a place they can worship their Father God and hang out with other believers, as they learn about God and are able to spiritually grow from the teaching of God. See> (Ephesians 4:11-13) 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:


My Final thoughts
I'm pretty sure that none of us reading this have ever seen God. But at church among our brothers and sisters in Christ, we get a good look at seeing our Father God in each other, for God lives in us. So therefore, His love is clearly seen in each other. See> (1 John 4:12)12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us... Folks, it's important for us to go to a church that is alive in Christ. A church that is dead is no place for God's children to be. Let's think about this a moment. Why would someone want to go to a dead church? What would they be preaching if the church doesn’t put Jesus first? Christians need to go to a church that lives and breathes the Word of God, a church that places God at the center of everyone's lives so they can learn through each other’s experiences and help with each other’s convictions. That church is out there somewhere, perhaps you've already found one. If you haven't, don't be discouraged because one day you will find your church, amen


Let us all pray
Lord, this morning we pray for those who have not found a home church that they find one soon. A place where believers love and encourage one another, where folks are kind and compassionate to one another. But most important Lord, we pray they find a church they can call their home. For it is your house for the members and pastors to include you Lord, in all their church functions. In your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.
