ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED?

The very first thing we need to address about the belief that once we have received our Father God’s gift of Salvation, we are guaranteed never to lose our salvation. Well guy’s I am pleased to inform everyone there is truth in that belief. Say what? You may ask. Now that I have everyone’s attention allow me to explain in God’s own words. It all comes down to whether the person who’s proclaiming to be saved is indeed a Christian, are they living a Christ like lifestyle? Just because a person openly proclaims, they are a Christian does not mean they are “truly a child of God.” Are they born again in accordance to God’s word? See> (John 3:16) … God’s word teaches us that ‘true Christian’s will strive to live without sin See> (1 John 3:6) Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him… God’s word clearly defines that anyone who departs the faith is demonstrating that they were never truly a Christian See> (1 John 2:19) They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us…. Once a person believes in Jesus, and wholeheartedly knows Jesus Christ is the Son of God, then by their faith in Him they repent of their wrong doings with a sincere heart. They ask Jesus to forgive their sins, thus they are sealed with the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is promised by our Father God to be their guarantee to receive eternal life. See> (Ephesians 1:13–14) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. … Our Father God’s word teaches us our eternal life is not temporary. Since God doesn’t lie, He will honor His promise to His “true Christians.” See> (Titus 1:2) In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; …

My Final thoughts
Let’s take this in a different light, our salvation is a gift given to us by God from the moment we are forgiven, and just as all the gifts we receive from God, our Salvation comes without repentance. See> (Romans 11:29) 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. ... Now! Just to be sure everyone whose reading this morning, they understand what God’s word teaches us about “once saved always saved." Please allow me to recap what we have learned. For a Christian to be assured of their salvation they need to live a Christian’s lifestyle, they know longer live for themselves. They live in obedience to God’s will and laws to the best of their ability. This means they cannot live their old lifestyles for they have made a commitment to God to live as Jesus Christ lived. For me to be wrong in that Christians can lose their salvation, God would not have guaranteed His Children their salvation. See> Romans 8:30) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. … So, now we can be assured that once we’ve received our salvation and we are actively doing our best to live as Jesus lived His life in obedience to our Father God’s will to the best of our ability “as true Christian’s,” we should not knowingly sin because that is not acting as a child of God. But rather we are acting out our sin when we know our Lord would not be pleased with us. See> (Romans 6:1-2) 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? God bless everyone and may we all continue walking with our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Lord, hear our prayers.
We come to you this morning knowing we need to live Christian lifestyles in obedience to God’s will. We understand that because we are saved, we need to continue living our new life in Christ striving to live as righteous as we possibly can. Lord, we know that we can only live our life with you, when we include you. For with you Lord, we can do anything. We understand that if we do not live in obedience to our Father God’s will and laws, we are not entitled to call ourselves Christians. Therefore, we are not guaranteed our salvation. In your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.
