THE SERMON
I’ll admit that after I was first saved Satan frightened me, because I knew how evil and determined he would be to get me back. It was then I understood our pastor’s sermon, about how our Father God in Heaven promises to love and protect us from Satan’s attacks. The sermon immediately grabbed my full attention, being I was struggling with my own fears. That day was when I learned God promised to stay with me wherever I go, and that he would fight Satan on my behalf so that I could remain at peace, knowing in faith my Father’s got this and I could continue living my new life with Christ without any more fears. See> (Joshua 1:9) 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whitherso-ever thou goest. That day I was blessed to learn that in faith, we can do anything for God that we set our hearts on doing for God’s Glory.
My final thoughts.
I was then able to stand fearless against Satan because God had freed my fears that the devil would snatch me away from God. In faith I knew because I believe in Christ, I could fearlessly do anything Christ has done for the greater cause of God’s goodness. See> (John 14:12)12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Folk’s it is a blessing to know that in faith we can do anything with God. This made my heart hunger for God's word, and the more I read God’s word the stronger my faith grew. I learned the more I read God’s word the more knowledge I received to help me reach my personal goal, and to help our Father’s unsaved people understand who God truly is. I pray that one day our Father’s unsaved people may desire to glorify Christ and his Father God with their good works and actions. Satan will still attack us because that is what Satan does, but it's good to know our Father God will fight for us and we will have the victory.
Our Morning Prayer. Father God, we thank you for fighting off Satan's attacks for us, that together with your Son Jesus Christ we are able to reach out to your lost people in hope they will come to know you Father. In your Son Jesus Christ’s name we pray amen
