No one comes into this world knowing how to Obey. Most of us don’t like rules. We don’t like being told what to do or when to do it or even how to do it. We like to be independent and make our own decisions. Why? Because we tend to believe that we know what’s best.
•Anyone who wants to know GOD—to Walk closely with HIM—must Obey HIM. Sounds like a strong statement, doesn’t it? But there is no way that we can come into a close Relationship with The LORD, Walk fully in The Blessings and enjoy the Communion that our spirits desire without Obeying HIM.
Our Heavenly FATHER knows what’s Best for us!
*Oftentimes, we have No Idea what the best decision is. And we end up making mistake after mistake after mistake. That’s why GOD gives us Truth and that’s why HE convicts us to Follow HIS Word.
*Beloved brothers and sisters we must Obey our LORD at All times knowing that someday we will get to see HIM Face to face.
•Obedience is doing what GOD says, when HE says it, how HE says it, for whatever reason HE says it. There’s no room for passivity when it comes to Obeying The FATHER Almighty. This level of commitment requires an active choice.
•We can Obey our Heavenly FATHER if we: Choose to Trust HIM! Bible says that: we must Trust in The LORD with All our hearts and never leaning towards our own understanding, in All our ways to Acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct our paths (see Proverbs 3:5-6).
•Obedience is to determine to wait upon The LORD in Prayer. IF we wait for The LORD, HE will renew our Strength when feeling weak knowing that HIS power works great when we are weak. Then we will mount up with wings like eagles; we will run and not be weary; we will walk and not faint.
*Always remember Prayer with all supplication praying at all times in The Spirit, and in regard to this same, watching in All Perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Praying for one another.
•Obedience is to Meditate upon HIS Word every day. Brothers and sisters let us not depart from The Commands of HIS Lips; And let us Treasure The Words of HIS Mouth more than our daily bread. Knowing that this Book of the Law (GOD's Word) should always be on our lips; meditate on it day and night, so that we may be careful to do everything written in it. Then we will be Prosperous and Successful. Hallelujah !
•Obedience is to leave the consequences to GOD.
When HE challenges us to Obey, our minds could fill with doubts: Suppose HE can’t fix this situation. What if HE doesn’t provide enough? When these thoughts come to mind, we must remember that The LORD is Always Sufficient and Adequate for every issue in our lives.
*Bible says: Proverbs 18:10 The Name of The LORD is a Strong Tower; the Righteous run into it and are safe! Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for The Joy of The LORD is your Strength. Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I AM with you; do not be dismayed, for I AM your GOD! Hallelujah!
•Our Heavenly FATHER seeks our instruction, not our destruction. HIS Compassion Endureth forever, but not HIS contention. The LORD Loves HIS Chosen too well to be always angry with them. Therefore, be not afraid because of the painful present, for it hastens to a happy future. Our job is simply to Obey HIM and then watch HIM work out HIS Will in our lives in surprising ways.
When we Obey The LORD anything is Possible!
•Do not merely listen to The Word of GOD and so deceive yourselves, do what it says.
Anyone who Loves My LORD Jesus Christ will Obey HIS Teachings.
