THE LIFE OF A CHRISTIAN SOLDIER
There's no doubt about it, we cannot allow folks to intimidate us if we are to remain strong Christian Soldiers. Strong in God's words and wisdom so we are not outspoken by the evil doers that are among us during the activities of our daily lives. A Christian Soldier should never fear what others may think or say about them. If the unbelievers must make fun of us or declare us to be outcasts let them them do so. Let them bully and persecute us. wasn't our Lord treated as such before He died for us?
These unbelievers can do nothing to us that our Lord hasn't already suffered. So let those who hate you, hate you. But be sure to love them as we know God instructs us. See>(Mathew 5:44) 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
A Christian Soldier must never deny our Lord, His Father God, or The Holy Spirit. We must be ready to defeat Satan and his evil doers with our knowledge and power of Gods word. See>(Hebrews 4:12) 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
A Christian soldier's purpose is to serve their God by any means necessary. Knowing in their hearts that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior, and with Him we receive God’s power which we desperately need living in today's society. Christian soldiers need God's power because all around the world they are being persecuted, beaten, tortured, and maybe even killed for teaching about God's righteousness. A true Christian Soldier does not worry about self for they've overcome their selfishness, and remember all the sacrifices their Lord made when He walked the earth, preaching about His Father and all the wonders of Heaven.
A Christian Soldier knows they will be mocked, slandered, cursed, and beat because they represent Jesus Christ, His Father God and The Holy Spirit. See>(Ezekiel 2:6) 6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
Let me get through this hypothetical question to all of my brothers and my sisters here in a moment. Let's say that you know your going to die because you will not denounce your faith and belief in God. Your sure deaths moment has come because your eyes are staring at it. There below you lies a basket filled with the decapitated heads of God's dedicated Christian Soldiers who sacrificed their lives for God's honor. Now standing at your side is a man holding a sword that’s dripping and stained with the blood of God’s Children who never denied Christ to save their own lives.
Now here’s the question, would you die for your Lord Jesus the way He died for you? He was tortured, beaten, and left to die on a cross. Jesus Christ suffered many ways before He died, so that one day every one of us could repent, and confess their sins and receive salvation.
Final thoughts
Being a Christian Soldier is being a person who lives and breathes to serve God. They go above and beyond in their lives striving to live a Christian lifestyle that glorifies and lifts up their God. They boldly speak Gods word for everyone to hear. knowing that if unbelievers hear it and still do not believe in God, they can walk away knowing God’s will has been done and God is pleased with them. See>(Ezekiel 2:7) 7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
Prayer
Lord we come asking Your help, for direction in our lives so we can become Christian Soldiers. Only with Your direction Lord are we able to honor God's will for us, to go out and tell others about God, in Your name Jesus Christ we all pray, amen.
