MAKING GOOD CHOICES
It wouldn’t be fair for mankind if God expected us to live our lives making good decisions, if He hadn’t told us through many examples of bad and good, right from wrong in His word. See> (1 Corinthians 10:11) 11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
God did this so we can use His word as a guide during our life activities knowing God will guide us towards making our right decisions and choices.
This is the reason God wrote mankind their instruction manual on how to live a Christian lifestyle in a cruel and evil world. See>(Micah 6:8) 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
We all need to commit at least one hour a day to study and read our instructions on how-to live-in God's grace and glory. It's our responsibility to feed our brains the wisdom God's provided for us. God didn't write It all down so it can lie on a shelf collecting dust, while we fall from God's grace.
It's when we don’t, or we stop reading God's word, that we'll begin to fall back into our old ways because everyone of God's children need to read God's word, and receive God's instructions and guidance to maintain living Christian lifestyles. That's why God provided us a way to renew and feed our minds through His truths. See> (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19). Our minds are renewed through the truth of God's Word.
My final thoughts
Boy, God sure knew what all of us would require living glorifying Him down here on earth. All we need to do is make it our goal to seek God's wisdom daily through prayer, and a bible study as we honor Him in everything we do, so that everything we do will give God His glory, amen.
Prayer
We thank You Father God for ensuring all of us a way to refuel our thinking tanks as we are walking in your footsteps down here, where it would be impossible to live righteously without the guidance and knowledge we receive each day when we learn and grow closer to You, reading Your instructions on how to do so. We pray in Your name Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior, amen.
