BABES IN CHRIST
One of the first things Satan will use to attack newborn infant Christians is using their thoughts and memories of all the pleasures they receive from being of the world. Christians need to start ridding their old earthly desires from their subconscious. Satan plays with their minds because he knows he has very little time. He knows that the baby Christian will strive hard at being righteous and he needs to get them back, because Jesus told them they must give up their whole life so He can mold in them a new life in Christ, for them to live in the Holy Spirits protection. See> (2 Corinthians 5:17) 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Satan knows he needs to move quickly during the newborn Christian’s life because he does everything he can to discourage the newborn Christian from living for Christ. This is where God counts on His more mature children to get involved in His newborn children’s life and help them deal with this tremendous and miraculous time of their lives. To encourage them when they become discouraged during their falls and lift them up. And to teach the babe to trust in faith knowing that their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will always be walking with them. He'll always be there to pick them up, setting everything in motion so He can continue His working in their new life with Him, and to teach them to have the confidence that their Lord will never leave them for all their days left on earth. See> (Philippians 1:6) 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
My final thoughts
As adult Christians we know how tough Satan can make it for newborns as well as us. We know our own children count on us to grow and learn about life. It's the same way with our Father God. He needs all of us to be uncles and aunts to his baby Christians and help Him raise them into strong Christian Soldiers, amen.
Prayer
Lord, help us grow in the areas we need to. Help us use the knowledge we've learned from reading God's word to guide Your newborn again Christians as they go through Satan's attacks. In Your name Jesus Christ we do pray, amen.
