SHE NEVER RECEIVED HIM.
She was cold, her body shaking from tiny seizures. It was early July in Ft Lauderdale on the beach. It was 94* degrees with the sun shining high and hot. But Renee Rolt’s cold chills were increasing and grown far more intense. She was burning up and hoped somebody would stop to notice, but everyone knew her, so they kept walking passed her without a care.
She laid their helpless like she had done so many times before. But this time she knew something was wrong the instant the syringe emptied into her vein, but her body wouldn’t move. All she could do was lay there with her mind hoping someone would care, hoping someone would bring her back, give her some good juice, another shot to bring her back. But everyone knew her, so they kept walking passed her without a care.
After feeding her addiction for over thirty years Renee knew all she needed was some good juice. That had always worked to rid her chills but only to bring her back to the world she’d been running away from all these years, running from her childhood pain. Running from the night he’d taken her from her bedroom. He’d spent years taking her young body until one day, he left her laying on the beach. Renee was ten when some-one found her, she was ruined, traumatized and left on the beach.
Now thirty years later she was dying on the very same beach where she’d been found. Her body began to fade away and she was unable to numb her painful memories that were invading her helpless thoughts. She tried to say something, she thought someone may have noticed her. But everyone knew her, so they kept walking passed her without a care.
Renee was found a few hours later, her body was cold, and her arm was stiff with that one last sticker in her arm. Renee's life passed by her so fast yet so slow as she was forced to stay alive, stuck in her hopeless life since that day he'd taken her. Renee was four years old when her life was stolen from her before she knew what life was. What school was or who her Father God was. Renee's life had been Stolen and replaced with only one nightmare, never having a chance. He always kept her on dope, so she'd just give up. That was the life she knew; she never knew Him. She never had that chance.
Later that day Renee was found on the beach where she’d started hiding herself in her own world. It was her world, a world where she could escape the life, where she'd only known one thing that helped her pain go away, being the dope that numbed her pain. This is what made it all go away, far away so she'd always find a way to keep her dope in play. That's all Renee knew that was strong enough to take her life's pain away. But what Renee didn't know was the same dope that had been keeping her pain away had also been keeping her Jesus away, so she never knew Him.
Final thoughts Renee died never having a chance to know life. To know a safe place or know her Father God who loved her, A father that would have taken her pain away if shed only sought after His help. I wish I could say that when the time came for her to be judged by her Father God, that God would have a special place in Heaven for lost souls that truly never had the chance to receive Him and become His children. See> (John 12:21) 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name
There are thousands of people who for some reason or another were robbed from having life, who were robbed from ever knowing their Father God. You don't need to be an addict for this to happen. If you don't Know who God is currently in your life, please don't take a chance by waiting to meet God. Let’s take advantage of this very moment and get to know God as soon as possible. Right now, is always the best time, did you know God knows you already, He’s knew you before you were born, so don’t you think it’s time, for all of us to learn who God is? See> (Jeremiah 1:5) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
We all have been given this chance to learn who God is, so let us not roll the dice any longer and lose our souls. God is waiting for those who seek to know Him, so I ask for them to find a local Christian based church and ask how one can know God. If you can’t find a Jesus loving church, I’m asking you to pray for help even if you've never prayed before, calling out trying to reach Him. Let God hear your call to Him, then He will come to you. But one must have faith in God knowing He is real and then call out to Him knowing and believing in your heart that He will come to those who truly want to know Him. The key words here are TRULY WANT TO KNOW HIM.
God bless y all this morning and may we all walk with our Lord Jesus Christ through this temporary journey we all call life on earth. Amen.
Let us pray together
Dear Lord, please hear our prayer asking for your guidance in helping those seeking to find God and learn who He is. Help them find Him before it’s too late, we all pray in Your name Jesus Christ, amen.
