Many folks have similar views about this subject. I guess it's all in how one understands what God is teaching them. I Preach God's Word the way God inspires me to do so. “Straight to the point like God intended. His children need to learn the knowledge God reveals in His words He wrote that will guide them as they strive hard to live as righteously and humanly as they are capable of doing.”
I was inspired to write yesterday morning's a personal testimony that changed my life forever. You see folks, I had a close friend who was dragging me down the wrong path because he didn’t believe in the Bible. He was my only best friend, but his bad influence was rubbing off on me. I was convinced I could change his mind by being a witness for God only to have failed.
Still today I preach and hang out with nonbelievers every single day, trying to shed God’s light into their darkened world. I do this because that’s what Jesus did. In order to remain strong in my Christian walk, God’s word told me it was best not to be friends with nonbelievers. So, I obey God’s world. Perhaps that’s why I don’t ever recall Jesus seeking friendships with the unbelievers. See> (2 Corinthians 6:14) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
My final thoughts
As Christians we need to walk in Christ’s footsteps, teaching folks how to live a lifestyle that is wonderful for them and glorifies God as well. See> (Matthew 5:16) 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
One sure way to do the work Jesus Christ did, is to take measures that will help ensure us not to become under Satan’s influence by having friends that will try to deceive us by their actions and lifestyles amen. See> (1 Corinthians 15:33) 33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
Let us pray together this morning
Dear Lord, help us as we reach out into the world each day, attempting to honor our Father God's will to spread His message to unbelievers. See> (Luke 5:32)32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance…
This way Lord we give every woman, man' or child a chance to learn about their Father God and His righteousness We ask that you protect us from the worst of the worst of them, especially those that intend to friend us so they can cause a ruckus in our walk to Heaven . In Your Name Jesus Christ we do pray. amen.
