God’s News For Today ~ Monday July 1st 2019
Studied with the King James Bible

This morning’s topic is about keeping the commitments we’ve committed to.

KEEPING OUR COMMITMENTS “Part One”

God has inspired me to bring some of His light about this topic today. We won’t have enough time this morning to address all the commitments that we need to establish for living our Christian lifestyle’s.’ We need to keep and honor these commitments with sincere hearts. So, we‘ll be addressing these commitments throughout the week. NOTE: Remember, I write as and what God inspires me to write daily. So, this topic, “Keeping our commitments” may not be in order if God directs a different topic on that day. Now let’s get started.

If our hearts don’t truly desire to keep our commitments God requires of us that will help ensure us a stable Christian lifestyle, then what we say or do is all in vain.

If we can’t keep our commitments, we will fail at living our lives as Christ lived His. But only because we’ve failed at keeping our hearts dedicated to keeping those commitments. Because we’ve failed from our Father God’s grace, then we will lose our Father God’s promise of everlasting life with Him in Heaven, unless we return to God with a sincere heart. So, please believe me when I tell you there’s no other way around it. Our father God tells us we must obey His will and serve Him, praise Him, and obey His laws. SEE> (Deuteronomy 11:26-28)26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

Living a Christ like lifestyle that shows the world God’s awesomeness and righteousness requires our minds to desire only good things acceptable by God, in accordance with His will for us. See> (Romans 12:2)2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

But living our Christian lifestyles correctly isn’t easy going, just trying to succeed in living as righteously as we can is a hard commitment to achieve. I pray all of us know what I’m talking about , the moment we choose to obey our Father's will. We took on a whole bunch of things that requires a 100% commitment from us for God’s will for us to become established See> (Proverbs 16:3) 3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Living a Christ like lifestyle that shows the world good testimony is harder for some folks than for others, because they can’t trust God enough to stay committed. What this does is allow the Devil opportunity to attack them or others, especially if they’ve recently became born-again Christians, whose heart may still crave a desire for them to fit in with their unsaved friends. Let alone the pressure Satan puts on them from their unsaved family members. The Devil also places strangers and objects in their lives that offer them what he knows they’ll enjoy. But they are not of God but rather of the world.

My Final thoughts
After starting on this topic that God has told me is something we all need to go over, even those who deem it unnecessary to do so. Why? Because staying committed is something that every child of our Father God needs to work on. I confess right now to y ‘all that I do, can you admit it as well? If yes, I ask you to follow this mini series with us so we all can learn more about keeping our commitments as we go along. I’m always up for learning the knowledge God has written down for us to learn, aren’t you? God bless everyone and God bless our day, amen.

Prayer
We come thanking you Lord, for your continuous guidance in helping us live as You lived, and we ask that You help us stay committed to You. In Your Names Jesus Christ Our Lord and our Savior, amen.
