PERSECUTION AND TOTAL COMMITMENT

This morning we’ll wrap up this mini series about staying committed to our commitments with one of the hardest commitments to keep. I’m talking about our commitment to God, in that we won’t strike back against one that has wronged us or done worse to us. But rather forgive them, not seeking to respond in violence or rage for our Father God commands His Children to live as His Son Jesus Christ lived.
We should always be able to keep our commitments to our Father God because He gave all His Children the ability to act like His Son Jesus, when they trust Him enough to take full control of whatever situation they've found themselves in.

As Christians when we don’t strike back, we show our hearts commitment to give Jesus the sole authority over us. Jesus then becomes our guiding light and that helps us keep our commitment to Him.
As Christians we need to depend on Jesus Christ’s strength that lives in us. Therefore, we will be able to keep all our commitments we’ve made to our Father God, “even when we’re being persecuted.”

Let’s break it down quickly. We receive the Holy Spirit's power when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior, and He dwells in us as we strive to live our lives for Him. It is because Jesus lives inside us when we pray for His help and strength in keeping our commitments. That’s when the Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ that’s within us will provide us the strength we need to keep our commitment to God. Amen. See> (Ephesians 3:16) 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

My final thoughts
Wow folk's, what a rush it is when we walk with our Lord who is the only man to have lived a perfect life. Who else could we possibly have faith and trust in to help us keep our commitment to our Father God? I know of only one other whom qualifies to help us live as perfect as we humanly can. That one other is none other than our Father God Almighty Himself. Therefore, when we pray for the strength, we'll need to keep our commitments and stay committed to Him. We should never give up, because if we do, we won't have the power of God and we will fail miserably

Let us all pray
Lord we come to You praying for those of us whose Spirits were weakened for whatever reason that only you know. We pray for them to gain their trust in You so the Holy Spirit's power in you, will flow into them, giving them the strength that's required to keep their commitments that their Father God offers them, so they can stay committed under any circumstances. In Your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.
