BAD SITUATIONS
How many of you can reflect to a moment back in time when you saw no way out of a bad situation you were in? And no matter what you did or how much you tried to pull yourself out of it, things only got worse. But then realized, you were so overwhelmed about a situation you know would take an act of God almighty to solve it. You knew this, but you never called upon your Father God’s assistance. This is a good reason for us to always seek God first and last. I say last because God should be first on the job and we won’t need to call anyone else. Why? Because our faith and trust in God promises us the situation will cease.
For instance, remember when Daniel was placed into the lion's den? How helpless he was. He didn’t let fear cause him to worry. He didn’t try another alternative than God, probably because he knew he was in a desperate situation, so he trusted in his Father God. Daniel just kicked back with those hungry lions without a worry, because he knew in his heart that God would save him. See> (6:16-22) 16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. 17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. 18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions. 20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? 21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. 22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
Folks, every one of us need to do as Daniel did when we find ourselves in helpless situations. We should never allow the thought of trying to overcome a bad situation by ourselves. Instead we need to trust and depend on our Father God. Therefore, He will not allow us to sink deeper into badness, but rather give good a chance. God is good so call out to our Father God, trusting in faith your Father will not fail His child amen.
Could you imagine how things may have turned out for Daniel had he not trusted in his Father God? Do you think those angels would have come to shut those lions’ mouths? Think about it. God bless and may we all be walking with our Lord Jesus Christ, as he leads us through “all situations" we encounter while we are visiting here on earth, amen.
My final thoughts
Believe me when I tell you that every human being on earth, and I express the words ‘every human being’ have gone through situations like Daniel. Remember we are all loved by our Father, so when we trust in Him rather than ourselves or others, God will always help us out of a bad situation. See> (2 Samuel 22:3) 3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
Let us pray
Lord you know how we allow our emotions and self-defenses to take control during our bad situations. Lord, you know how stubborn our human minds can be, so we ask for you to give our brains a nudge, to remember to call upon our Father God as soon as we need help. This way we can chill out and wait for our Father God’s assistance, in your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.
