YES, CHRISTIANS NEED DAILY SPIRITUAL CLEANSINGS.
It’s a fact that all Christians get dirty in sin. We were born into sin and no matter how hard we pray, or how many times we repent and confess our sins, we will still come short of our Father God’s glory“ See> (Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
For this reason, we should pray for our Lord to cleanse our hearts daily, see> (Psalm 51:10) Create in me a clean heart, O God; and regenerate the spirit within me.
During our prayer we need to ask our Lord to help us deal with our faults and impurities, so they carry less weight on our shoulders. This way God will cleanse us with His holiness until our souls are white as cotton. See> (Psalm 51:77) 77 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
When we asked our Father God for these things daily, we will be ready to face the dark evil forces that have attacked Christians all around the world. “Satan's evil forces" don’t only kill and torture them, oh no, Satan has a wide variety of ways to attack Christians daily, as he finds their weaknesses and attacks them in full strength of his forces of evil. Perhaps this is the reason God instructs His children to read His instructions and learn through His Word how to use the Spiritual powers he provides us to defeat Satan. That’s right folks, Christians have the power of God almighty at our fingertips, so we must know how to rid the evil that’s surrounds us daily.
Folk’s the only way to assure us a victory over Satan daily, is to ask God every morning to give us our full armor of God. See> (Ephesians 6: 13-17) 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
While we are reading God’s word, we need to seek His knowledge, so we’ll always be ready to lead the unsaved souls to Jesus, by teaching them about Christ and how He’s the only way for them to receive salvation. (Psalm51:13) Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
My final thought
For this reason, every child of God who actively honors our Father God’s will needs to pray this prayer, or a similar one like it every morning before they start their day. A lot of us get up and are already rushing to start up a new day. One way for us to make sure we remember to pray this very important prayer would be, to set our alarm clock five minutes earlier, and have the prayer placed where we’ll see it first thing when we are waking up. Don’t worry folk’s, our Father God understands our sleepy morning voices, plus He understands our thoughts. So, we can even read the prayer in our minds knowing God will hear our prayers. Assuring us that our hearts are pure, and we are ready to go about our daily walk with our Lord Jesus Christ guiding our paths. Amen.
Let us all pray
Lord, please cleanse our souls from all their impurities, and let the love of our Father God’s Spirit shine through us as we strive to walk in your footsteps through our lives on earths journey. And Lord might we ask every day for you to keep us heavily armed with Gods full armor. And help us understand our Father God’s word that it may teach us the wisdom we need to lead others to you. We love You Lord and we all do thank you for each day you give us, that we may go out into this cold evil world and warm it up a bit, as we serve and honor our Father God’s will for us. In your name Jesus Christ, we all do pray, amen.
