TRANSITION PERIOD

When we were young Christians one of the hardest things to accomplish was the ability to break away from your old mindset. Our old habits are a constant struggle as you strive to live your new life with Christ. It's not the easiest thing to accomplish nor is it your fault! Most of us grew up in the world with the desire to live a good life, not paying any mind the life we were living was of the world, and was not God's will for us.

Now just because we are born again, and Jesus washes our sin away the day we accepted Him into our lives, doesn't mean Jesus deleted our memories and old ways of thinking. I'm pretty sure Jesus would have if His Father God hadn't given us our free will to decide who we'll serve in our lives, our Father God or ourselves. All Jesus can and will do is guide and help us when we call on Him. Note, I clearly said that Jesus will guide and help us. See> (John 10:11) “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (Psalm 32:8) “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

God doesn't want our transition to be too hard or very difficult for us to accomplish, so He tells us to read the directions He wrote down in His word. See> (Psalm 119:105) 105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

My final thoughts
I personally know that God’s word helped me get through so many difficult times that I’m sure most of God’s children come to face, especially during our transition period from the old us, to our new selves with Christ. Until I learned to trust in our Father's word and let them guide my direction, I was having a very hard time during my transition period. See> (1 Timothy 4:16) 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Let us pray
Lord we come this morning asking if anyone who’s reading this needs your help with their transition period, that you’ll lead them to one of your children so they can help him or her understand the words our Father God has provided them, to help them break away from their old mindset and become the Child of God our Father wants us all to be, one with you in their thoughts. In your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.
