SALVATION

(Romans 4:23-25) 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Sammy couldn’t wait to hear the minister's announcement it was time for children’s bible school. Sammy “age nine” has been spending that whole week anxiously wondering what salvation was. Finally, it was time for his class. The first chance he got he asked what salvation was. The teacher Mrs. Prince answered the unexpected question with ease. She explained that salvation is what saves a person’s soul from eternal death. “What are we being saved from Mrs. Prince?" asked Sammy. She told him we are saved from God’s judgment of sin. See> (1 Thessalonians 4:14) 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
When people do bad things, it makes God sad. For God wants everyone to go to Heaven, but when a person sins, they're not allowed to go to Heaven. ‘Why Sammy asked?’ So, she answered, 'because their sins are preventing them.' Then Mrs. Prince went on to explain about God's plan of salvation the best way she could to the whole class.

Questions about salvation are asked daily, so many, only God knows the amount of times during a day. The answer never changes because there’s only one answer to give anyone at any age. That answer being, that’s why Jesus had to die for us in our place. To pay for our sin debt, because we're incapable of paying our sin debt, nor are we able to cleanse ourselves from our sin. Our Father God is the only one capable of giving us His gift of salvation. Therefore, God Himself made it possible for every man, woman and child to receive salvation. See> (1 John 1:9)9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Also See> (Ephesians 1:13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

My Final thoughts
So, folks, have I sparked anyone’s attention, or maybe sparked some interest to someone with us that maybe hasn’t quite yet received the gift of salvation? If yes, I’d ask that person to put their faith in God’s word, that they may receive eternal life. This is through understanding Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead to give you eternal life! That is because they believed Jesus died for them and then rose, so that we can live. See> (1 Thessalonians 4:14) 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Let us pray
Lord Jesus, if there be anyone here who have been led to receive you as their Lord and Savior, we pray for you to direct them to one of us or to someone else that will help lead them to you Lord. In your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.
