Wasn't it just 'yesterday' that Apollo 11 landed on our Moon? I was working Departure Control in the RAPCON at Travis AFB, that night. When the American flag was planted I keyed up my 22 frequencies and announced to all the aircraft I had, at the time. Man, what a PROUD moment for America! I just can't believe it's been 50 long years!!
