it is the system in DC that is corrupting the people there.

we sent a huge new crop of legislators to DC in 2016 to clean the place up. what happened? the system happened.

I submit all this is moot, but what is not is the system of government the founders designed.

that system places the responsibility of holding the elected representatives accountability, squarely, on the citizens, and for far too long too many have abdicated that responsibility.

that system gives the states final say on decisions concerning matters affecting its people because the founders knew the closer to home the decision was made the easier it would be to hold said official accountable.

an overwhelming majority of people want term limits on Congress because its members live in an echo chamber and are not responsive to the citizen's interests; they are inaccessible to the people who elected them.

however, just term limits on Congress will not solve the problems in DC.

how are you going to stop activist judges from enacting legislation from the bench?

how are you going to control the unelected bureaucrats from enacting burdensome unconstitutional regulation on the people?

how are you going to stop the corrupt lobbyists from corrupting the new generation of politician?

that is the real question that needs debate; who decides?

do you want to enact term limits on federal officials, place limits on spending and reduce the scope and jurisdiction of federal regulations?

join the group of citizens trying to preserve our way of life and permanently fix what ails us.

lets restore our government to what the founders intended it should be. please, sign the petition, roll up your sleeves and lets get to work, together. https://conventionofstates.com/?ref=42726
