Some of you are confused as to why 18 states have filed lawsuits with the Supreme Court. They are challenging the election procedures in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin on the grounds they violated the Constitution. These states violated the Electors Clause of the Constitution because they made changes to voting rules and procedures through courts or executive actions, not through the state legislatures—which is how it is supposed to be done according to the Constitution. They violated the Constitution.

Additionally, there were differences in voting rules and procedures in different counties within states, which violates the Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause. The 18 states are pointing out to the Supreme Court that violations to the Constitution have been made and are asking the Supreme Court to order the states to allow their legislatures to appoint their electors.

America will never have fair elections in the future if these violations are allowed to continue—they will set precedence and elections will forever be at the whim of “executive actions” by whomever is currently in power in each state. If your state is not among the 18 states filing lawsuits with the Supreme Court, contact your representatives and your State Attorney General and encourage them to file suit.
