Rami Dabbas is a Jordanian who was born in 1989. In 2010, he decided to leave Islam after becoming fed up with all the jihadist violence & persecution of non-Muslims. What made his decision final was the realization that this violence & hatred is enshrined in the verses of the Koran & Hadiths.

From 2010-2012, he was an atheist, though he continued to seek the truth regarding God & religion, even flirting briefly with Buddhism.

When he announced his newfound atheism through social media, many friends & relatives turned against him. "They felt I was backwards in my thinking, & I came to feel the same about them."

Atheism is detested throughout the Islamic world. So, in 2012, he visited a church to learn more about Christianity & Jesus. After 4 months of investigating, he joined an international church under the auspices of an American priest.

"On the very first day, I was asked to pray for salvation, after which one of the Christian brothers gave me weekly Bible lessons. Shortly after that, I was baptized in the Jordan River."

The Islamic nation of Jordan is not a moderate Arab Muslim country. It is illegal to leave Islam. The courts are still governed by Sharia.

In 2012 he made an online video telling people in Arabic about how he become a Christian. Only days later, he was attacked by 3 Muslims, & also received threats from international terrorists. Further threats came from Miqdad al-Dabbas, who is currently in jail for terrorism charges & fought for Al-Qaeda.
