This was back in the 1970's that my father who was a die hard Democrat would get into discussion about the Democrats. He would say the Democrats are for the working class and the Republicans are for the rich man. My response would be they have you brain washed. To say the least that statement did not go well with my father. The only democrat I would have voted for was JFK and I was a year or two to young to vote for him Now I can say I have never voted for a Democrat, never.
