President Donald Trump will be returning to Washington, D.C. this afternoon after his stay at Camp David. He will spend a few hours at the White House before taking part in a virtual town hall at the Lincoln Memorial. The event, which will be live streamed, is called America Together: Returning to Work. He is expected to discuss various policy and regulatory proposals as part of revitalizing the economy.

As part of the goal to solidify the next steps in the national strategy to reopen the economy, while at Camp David, the president met with top advisors, including Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, and Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany. As states work to reopen this week, the federal government will continue to look for ways to provide economic resources and medical aid.

AS THE LORD LEADS, PRAY WITH US…

For safety as the president travels.
For guidance and clarity as the president addresses the nation today.
For wisdom for the president and state governors as they work to reopen the nation, both on a federal and local level.
