This morning, President Donald Trump will host Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi of Iraq at the White House. Defense Secretary Esper and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin are expected to participate in the meetings.

Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said of the meeting with the Iraqi Prime Minister, “The visit comes at a critical time for both the United States and Iraq as we continue our collaboration to ensure the enduring defeat of ISIS and address the challenges from the coronavirus pandemic.” She continued, “As close partners, the United States and Iraq will look to expand our relations across a range of issues, including security, energy, health care, and economic cooperation.”

In the afternoon, the president will travel to Old Forge, Pennsylvania, just southwest of Scranton. He will speak at a campaign event at Mariotti Building Products, a family-owned remodeling and construction business in existence for over sixty years.
