A FACT FOR MANY! What makes it so bad is these disease processes are compounded by wearing a mask. Because you are re-breathing carbon dioxide, CO2 and it upsets the pH balance in your blood. CO2 is acidic. It can cause respiratory acidosis. And that is bad bad bad. When temperatures and/or humidity are high, this alone makes it hard to breathe. Let’s add poor air quality and you are suffocating! Let’s add to the list people that are Claustrophobic and/or have anxiety!
