One way to get new members is to go on political sites and promote PAO. Articles on sites like Blackeye Politics have comment sections following each piece, as do other sites, where you will find some Left wing loon spouting Marxism and conservatives complaining about censorship from Twitter and Facebook. I'm offering PAO as a site to move away from liberal censorship. But this site needs an icon to click on and a place to send news items for discussion.
