My Annual Christmas Letter
To My Online Friends:
As the holidays approach, my heartfelt appreciation goes out to all of you who have taken the time and trouble to send me "forwards" over the past 12 months. Thank you for making me feel safe, secure, blessed, and wealthy.
Extra thanks to whoever sent me the one about rat crap in the glue on envelopes 'cause I now have to go get a wet towel every time I need to seal an envelope.
Also, I scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.
Because of your concern I no longer drink Coca Cola because it can remove toilet stains.
I no longer drink Pepsi or Dr. Pepper since the people who make these products are atheists who refuse to put "Under God" on their cans.
I no longer use Saran wrap in the microwave because it causes cancer.
I no longer check the coin return on pay phones because I could be pricked with a needle infected with AIDS.
I no longer use cancer-causing deodorants even though I smell like a water buffalo on a hot day.
I no longer go to shopping malls because someone might drug me with a perfume sample and rob me.
I no longer receive packages from nor send packages by UPS or FedEx since they are actually Al Qaeda in disguise.
I no longer answer the phone because someone will ask me to dial a number for which I will get a phone bill with calls to Jamaica, Uganda, Singapore, and Uzbekistan.
I no longer eat KFC because their "chickens" are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.
I no longer have any sneakers -- but that will change once I receive my free replacement pair from Nike.
I no longer have to buy expensive cookies from Neiman Marcus since I now have their recipe.
I no longer worry about my soul because at last count I have 363,214 angels looking out for me. Thanks to you, I have learned that God only answers my prayers if I forward an e-mail to seven of my friends and make a wish within five minutes.
I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl who is about to die in the hospital (for the 1,387,258th time)
I no longer have any money at all -- but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special email program.
Yes, I want to thank you so much for looking out for me that I will now return the favor!
If you don't send this e-mail to at least 144,000 people in the next 7 minutes, a large pigeon with a wicked case of diarrhea will land on your head at 5:00 PM (CDT) this afternoon. I know this will occur because it actually happened to a friend of my next-door neighbor's ex-mother-in-law's second husband's cousin's beautician.
Happy Holidays in Advance!!

Bernie Sanders Questioned Over Campaign Funds Transfer
By Billy Costigan -October 24, 2023
Senator Bernie Sanders, a prominent figure in progressive politics, has come under scrutiny for transferring a large sum of $75,000 from his campaign’s funds to a nonprofit organization run by his wife and stepson. The money was transferred to the Sanders Institute, which was established by Jane Sanders and her stepson David Driscoll six years ago.
The Sanders Institute was created as a think tank with the intention of promoting progressive ideals and supporting similar organizations. However, according to recently released filings from the Federal Election Commission, the institute has done very little work and paid six-figure salaries to its executive director David Driscoll.
This transfer of funds from Sanders’ campaign to the nonprofit has raised concerns and led to allegations of potential campaign finance violations. The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust has stated that while it is not illegal for a senator to transfer money to family members, it should only be done if the family members are legitimately earning the money through their work.
The purpose of the Sanders Institute was initially to promote democracy and engage in civil discourse and critical thinking. In 2019, as Sanders entered the presidential race, the institute ceased its operations to avoid any conflicts of interest. However, it has quietly resumed its activities since then.
The nonprofit’s tax records from 2021 show that nearly 40% of its contributions were disbursed for salaries, with a majority going to Driscoll. The institute also reported expenses for producing a policy-focused resource and a news site, but it appears that these projects have not been actualized.
The institute’s website, which claims to be a “key pillar” of the organization, does not contain the “policy-focused resource” mentioned in its tax records. Its YouTube page has only three videos uploaded this year, and its Twitter page largely shares content from outside sources. Additionally, no grants were reported to have been given to other progressive organizations, despite the institute’s stated intention to support them.
This is not the first time Sanders’ campaign has transferred funds to the Sanders Institute. In 2021, the presidential committee sent $350,000 to the organization, accounting for almost half of its fundraising that year.
Despite numerous attempts, the Sanders campaign has not responded to requests for comment on the money it has sent to the nonprofit.
This transfer of funds has brought into question the legitimacy and purpose of the Sanders Institute. With a significant portion of its donations going towards salaries, and little visible work being done, there are concerns that the money may not have been used for its intended purposes. It remains to be seen how this latest development will affect Sanders’ political image and potential future campaigns.

Our Preparations Ahead of Inauguration Day
January 11, 2021
By Guy Rosen, VP Integrity, and Monika Bickert, VP Global Policy Management
Update on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00AM PT:
We are banning ads that promote weapon accessories and protective equipment in the US at least through January 22, out of an abundance of caution. We already prohibit ads for weapons, ammunition and weapon enhancements like silencers. But we will now also prohibit ads for accessories such as gun safes, vests and gun holsters in the US.
Update on January 15, 2021 at 1:57PM PT:
We’re monitoring for signals of violence or other threats both in Washington, D.C. and across all 50 states. In the lead up to Inauguration Day, we have implemented a series of additional measures to continue preventing attempts to use our services for violence. This includes our ongoing pause on all political advertising. And, as we did in the weeks after the presidential election, we are promoting accurate information about the election and the violence at the Capitol instead of content that our systems predict may be less accurate, delegitimizes the election or portrays the rioters as victims. We have also implemented specific measures to reduce opportunities for abuse in Groups.
Building on these steps, we have added two additional measures to further prevent people from trying to use our services to incite violence.
We are blocking the creation of any new Facebook events happening in close proximity to locations including the White House, the US Capitol building and any of the state capitol buildings through Inauguration Day. Our operations center is also conducting a secondary review of all Facebook events related to the inauguration and removing ones that violate our policies. And, as we did in the lead up to and following the US presidential election, we are continuing to block event creation in the US by non-US based accounts and Pages.
We are also restricting some features for people in the US based on signals such as repeat violations of our policies. These restrictions include blocking these accounts from creating live videos or creating an event, Group or Page.
We will continue to monitor and add additional measures as needed.
Originally published on January 11, 2021 at 1:05PM PT:
We began preparing for Inauguration Day last year. But our planning took on new urgency after last week’s violence in Washington, D.C., and we are treating the next two weeks as a major civic event. We’re taking additional steps and using the same teams and technologies we used during the general election to stop misinformation and content that could incite further violence during these next few weeks.
We are now removing content containing the phrase “stop the steal” under our Coordinating Harm policy from Facebook and Instagram. We removed the original Stop the Steal group in November and have continued to remove Pages, groups and events that violate any of our policies, including calls for violence. We’ve been allowing robust conversations related to the election outcome and that will continue. But with continued attempts to organize events against the outcome of the US presidential election that can lead to violence, and use of the term by those involved in Wednesday’s violence in DC, we’re taking this additional step in the lead up to the inauguration. It may take some time to scale up our enforcement of this new step but we have already removed a significant number of posts.
Our teams are working 24/7 to enforce our policies around the inauguration. We will keep our Integrity Operations Center operating at least through January 22 to monitor and respond to threats in real time. We already had it active ahead of Georgia’s runoff elections and Congress’s counting of the Electoral College votes in the US presidential election. We extended it due to the violence at the Capitol last week.
As was the case through the 2020 elections, we’ve continued to proactively reach out to federal and local law enforcement and we are providing information in response to valid legal requests. As always, we will continue to remove content, disable accounts and work with law enforcement when there is a risk of physical harm or direct threats to public safety.
In addition to the indefinite suspension of President Trump’s account that we announced on January 7, we’re keeping our pause in place on all ads in the US about politics or elections. This means that we aren’t allowing any ads from politicians, including President Trump.
We are also connecting people with reliable information and high-quality news about the inauguration and the transition process. After the inauguration, our label on posts that attempt to delegitimize the election results will reflect that Joe Biden is the sitting president. Our Voting Information Center will stay active on Facebook and Instagram through the inauguration so it can continue to help people find reliable information and updates about the electoral process.
During inauguration week, we will add a news digest to Facebook News as a curated place for people to find reliable news about the inauguration. This will include live video of the inauguration at the US Capitol on January 20. Facebook News often includes news digests dedicated to events of national or global significance, such as “COVID-19” or “Unrest in America” with stories selected by the curation team. There will also be curated live video of the inauguration and other major moments on Facebook Watch.
We’ve had emergency measures in place since before the US elections such as not recommending civic groups for people to join. Last week, we implemented several additional ones, including increasing the requirement of Group admins to review and approve posts before they can go up, automatically disabling comments on posts in Groups that start to have a high rate of hate speech or content that incites violence, and using AI to further demote content that likely violates our policies. We’re keeping these measures in place.
We will stay vigilant to additional threats and take further action if necessary to keep people safe and informed.

The Republican party has 4 subparties within
The conservative: true blue to America and its people.
The Rino: couldn't win as Democrat so they ran as a Republican.
The Flip Flop: side with either party thats beneficial to their agenda.
The Neutral: don't care who does what just give me the title and my paycheck.

One thing to keep in mind about Devolution is how few people likely know the operation is even happening.
Trump and his key cabinet members, a select handful in the DoD, the 11 Combatant Commanders, and then those performing the Mission Essential Functions (IMO its special ops doing so).
That means theoretically it could be as little as 100, maybe 200 people carrying out this completely legal and constitutional Continuity of Government operation. Could be more but depends on what the MEFs are.
So just like the rest of us, nobody in the MILITARY knows devolution is happening outside that small number involved.
Biden’s actions are “waking up” the rest of the military too.
Everything is building to Trump returning with maximum public support which will minimize the fallout.
Trump walked away on January 20th to avoid a civil war. Walking away saved lives.
He’ll be welcomed back with open arms by much more than 74 million Americans.
