Continued: health stuff
Had surgery relieve cervical spine pressure
“Did remarkabley well” as per surgeon
Yeah for an old man
Post op i had to wait 5 days for a rehab bed w/ little to no PT
Finally transferred to rehab
A month’s stay but great place—good progress
Home for the holidays
Because of holidays i couldnt get to spinal cord rehab till january
So had to have home pt & ot only to lose ground
Home pt worthless
Finally got to clinic & there since january & got at least another month
After april it depends on my progress—plateau
Then Peg retired so dynamic changed
Im glad she quit: weird hours, computer work at home , stress etc
Shes a gem
Im not easy to live with
She did yeomans work while juggling work, me, the house our dogs etc
Im doing a lot better so i can help out but still a way to go
Seriously we/I are doing well; not looking for sympathy etc
Love peggy to death but dynamics shot our routines so different but i need her help till i can get up & about
We’ll get there
Had to vent
Thanks
I shall return
