  Dallas Hathcock True Story, I was sitting watching tv with my wife and three sons. My oldest son was 12 at the time. He saw a commercial that said something about “what it means to be a man.” He asked me then, “Dad, how do you know when you become a man?” Not missing a beat I said, “Well, in our family, when you turn 13 we have a party for You at the cabin. All the men in the family show up. We drink some beer and have a cookout. Then, after everyone’s in a good mood, we start the Manhood Ceremony. That’s when You have to put your penis on the picnic table and the all the guys in the family get to hit it with rocks.” My son jumped up from the couch and screamed to me that he wasn’t going to let people do that to him! My wife yelled at me how cruel I was! But the funniest thing was my 11 year old son laughed his ass off and screamed at his older brother, “You’re gonna’ be 13 in a couple of weeks!” I’m sorry. My sense of humor has always been dark. I always shoot for the outrageous. My son is 36 now and mentioned to me last week that, He’s never forgotten that.
