The true history of this nation is self-governance – brought to these shores by the immigrants

Published in Blog on August 08, 2022 by James O'Connor

My family’s motto circa 1300 AD:

Gaelic: O Dhia gach aon cabhair.

Literal translation: from God all and any help.

Heuristic translation: emphasizing one's faith in their ability and propagating independence and self-sufficiency.

This idea of freedom and self-governance was brought to these shores by the immigrants fleeing oppression and persecution from the very beginning. For 150 years before the revolution, it flourished and grew inside every person that lived here. This idea is now inexorably engrained in our DNA. When the English Parliament decided to infringe on that spirit in the 1770s, the freedom-loving folk here decided to draw a line in the sand and fight to keep it.

That is the true history of this nation; that was the inspiration that led the Framers to create the greatest political document in the history of the world - the Constitution. That spirit has been tested time and time again throughout our history, and each time, the citizens rise to the occasion and defend liberty and freedom wherever it is threatened!

The “progressives” have been trying to erase that history for the past 100 years; they are trying to indoctrinate the next generation, so they will abdicate their inalienable right to be free. The systematic dismantling of our moral core has been their goal from the beginning, to force their idea of governing on us in order to gain power and control. That is why you are seeing this nonsensical “woke” culture presented as if it is supported by an overwhelming majority.

Yes, they have the right to pursue happiness as they define it; if they want to change their pronouns, “identify” as a pink-haired poltroon or live with a fruit cake as their life partner - be my guest. You, however, will not force your insanity on the rest of us!

Every bit of this can be traced to the federal government’s usurpation of power that was never granted by the Constitution. There are only 18 enumerated powers granted to the federal government by the Constitution; everything else the government is doing is blatantly unconstitutional.

These pernicious denizens of the swamp, in all three branches of government, have been colluding to erase the checks and balances written in the Constitution that limit government, to instead gain more and more power.

To paraphrase “the Bard”, tyranny by any other name would still have a foul stench. It is time to wash that putrid odor from the government once and for all.

Patriots, once again, we are called to defend freedom!
