JOHNNY B BAD



Jamie Black is the wife of the baddest man in town, at least that is what her husband Johnny Blacks nickname was known as throughout the town. Then one day Johnny suffered a major heart attack, bringing his bad self at the mercy of God. Jamie being a woman of faith cried out to God, asking Him if it be your will Father, let my husband survive and help his heart change from bad to good. Help me Father.’ Jamie continued to pray in faith knowing and believing that Jesus Christ is the only way her husband’s bad heart could become good. Jamie will never forget the sound of her Lord Jesus Christ’s voice one day when He told her, ‘I will help you my child.’ Jamie knew God would answer her prayer request for Her husband’s heart to become a good heart. One that would love and not hate and would desire God’s goodness over Satan's badness was a lot for her to ask. So, every day Jamie prayed for God to change her husband from his bad ways, and as she prayed her faith grew stronger, because her trust in Christ was real and sincere. Every day as Johnny B Bad recovered, the hospital pastor often joined his wife while she prayed. Then after Jamie went home, the pastor would speak to Johnny, having faith Johnny would hear him telling him about God’s goodness.



My final thoughts
The pastor was right about Johnny's ability to hear the gospel of Christ, as he read God’s word into Johnny’s sub conscious state of mind. Each day as Johnnie's heart heard about God’s goodness, it continued to soften until one glorious day, Johnny subconsciously humbled himself before Jesus Christ, repenting to Jesus all of his heart’s badness as he sought forgiveness from Jesus for his sin. Johnny B Bad became a changed man that day, for the power of God Almighty came upon Johnny's inner spiritual being and washed away all the badness in Johnny's heart, thus cleansing it from all unrighteousness. See> (1 John 1:9) 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Then, the Holy Spirit was able to move into Johnny’s now clean heart, helping Johnny become Johnny B good as his life became new with Christ. See> (2 Corinthians 55:17) 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. …. It was only a few days later the goodness was seen in his heart, after Johnny became alert and told His wife his heart now knew Jesus Christ, and His Father God’s love and goodness. It was only a few months later when Johnny B Good suffered a fatal heart attack, and during his funeral the town folks knew Johnny B Good, not Johnny B Bad.


Let us pray together
Lord, we pray for God’s lost people to find their way to Him. We pray for our Father God’s goodness to enter their hearts and they repent of their wrongs and ask Jesus to forgive their sins. Lord, we pray for our Father God to answer the prayers of His children, as He answered Jamie’s prayers, for their faith in you is real and just. We pray in your name Jesus Christ, amen.
