STRIVE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT GOD
As Christians we try and strive hard to reach higher levels in understanding our Father God in Heaven. We know we’ve not reached that goal which makes our hearts sad. We find our only hope is to forget our failed attempts and address the goals before us. See> (Philippians 3:13)13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. As Christians we must never stop trying to reach our goals that we may achieve the prize. We know God called us through faith in Christ to come to him. See> (Philippians 3:14-15)14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. … When we became Christians, we desired to learn more about our Father God in Heaven. Personally, I wanted to know and feel the power that rose Jesus Christ from the dead. I wanted to feel God’s power and be more like Christ, and I was willing to suffer as Christ suffered. And yes, I was willing to die for my Lord. See> (Philippians 3:10) 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
My final thoughts.
Today I still feel the same way though I must confess, my relationship with God as well as my Christian lifestyle has gone through many ups and downs, twists, and turns, during the thirty-one years I’ve been saved. But not one time during those years did our Father God's love for me ever leave me. God was there when I cursed him, he was there when I praised him. God saw and knew my unrighteousness, yet he’s always blessed me with his goodness. God’s love for his children is the reason I write God’s daily inspirations inspired by the word of God. Sharing God’s inspiring word helps me help others learn more about their Father in Heaven, as well as help me with my walk in Christ. One thing I can say is it’s been a blessing living for Christ.
Our Morning Prayer.
Heavenly Father may our walk be with your Son Jesus and our life be lived to serve you Father. With you we can live our lives on earth helping others find their way to you. Your love for us is our power that comes from loving you Father. In the name Of Jesus Christ, we pray amen.
May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's guidance.
