I KNOW GOD EXISTS BECAUSE HE SAVED MY LIFE

I am sure that most of us have been asked how we can be so sure God exists. Of course, being Christians, we all answer the person according to knowledge we received through the word of God or sometimes our personal testimonies. This morning I will share an inspiring testimony about the time I first became a believer of God’s existence. I was around ten years old, and I used to dig tunnels and make snow caves in the snow banks which were built up from the big plows that plowed snow and ice off the store parking lots near my grandparents’ house. One afternoon I was alone in a snow tunnel when it collapsed on me. It seemed like I’d been crying out for help through a small whole my fingers pushed through the snowbank. I was nearly frozen to death when I remembered a teacher at church telling us Jesus Christ is strong and will help those who trust him. See> (Nahum 1:7)7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. … I remembered the teacher telling us to look up to the Heavens and pray to God for help if we ever need him. Psalm 121:1-2)1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

My final thoughts.
Young and not knowing for sure if God was real but believing he is, I decided to pray to God asking him to save me believing he would. It did not take long for God to send a friend of mine to pull me from the snowbank. It was that incident or what I like to call ; that little miracle that saved my life that made me believe that God is real. Why? Because later when I saw my friend that pulled me from the snowbank, he told me he never saw me that day. I knew then there is a God who is our Father in Heaven.

Our Morning Prayer
Father God, this morning we thank you for always being with us, and for helping us when we pray, seeking your helping hand. We thank you Father, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ, we pray amen.

May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's guidance.
