WHERES GOD?
Has anyone ever asked you where God was? Did you tell them that if they loved God, He's right there with them? Personally, when I'm asked that question I'll reflect to a time when I was a young man. That's when I would take my remote-controlled toy airplane to the old high school football field and meet a few friends who also would take flight after school or on the weekends. I was having an awesome time, up until a gust of wind took our planes out of sight.
"Where did your plane go?" a man asked us. " I told him I was looking for it now so I can safely land it and catch another flight tomorrow, if it is not as windy." "How can you be sure they're still up there when you can't see them?" asked the man." I looked at the man telling him that every few seconds I can catch a glimpse of my plane insuring me it was still flying up there somewhere."
Then I'll explain to the person how sometimes it's the same way with God. We can be humming along with God in our lives because we've asked Him into our heart. Everything is going good for us until a sudden gust of whatsoever' blows God out of our sights for a moment or two. We don't become discouraged because we know God's living inside our hearts because we love Him, we know He'll never sway very far away from those who seek Him. See> (Proverbs 8:17) 17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
My final thoughts
When those moments happen in our lives, we cannot allow them to discourage us or draw us away from God. God will never leave those who seek Him, we just need to take God at His word in that and know God's always here with us.
Prayer
Dear Lord, please help us stay calm when our world is turned upside down, because we know our Father God is with us and He'll calm any storm that comes near us. Thank you, Lord, in your name Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
