TRUST IN GOD, NOT OTHERS

There is not a day that goes by that Christians don't trust the Lord to keep us safe from the Devil’s swift attacks. I say swift because Satan will involve others that we may trust to handle whatever problem we are facing to do his dirty work. Satan wants us to seek help from others because he has more control over us, he knows his limited power can gain a stronger foothold. Yet our enemy is defeated because we've chosen to depend on someone else, and He is our Father God.  Therefore God clearly tells us in His word  that it's best for His Children to come to only trust in Him because man alone cannot defeat Satan's attacks. See> (Psalm 118:8-9) 8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

Every Christian needs to know that Satan wants to attack us when he knows we are most vulnerable. Now since we know Satan has no power over us when we trust our Lord, don't you think a good way to prevent Satan would be to better our relationship with our Lord? The better our relationship with Christ, makes it more difficult for Satan to succeed in an attack, because God's grace and mercy will surely help us. See> (Hebrews 4:16)16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

My final thoughts
It's so important and is a good reason for us to have friends that are Christians, because God works with our brothers and sisters in Christ. This is what I do and every day I have victory over Satan. This is what Our Father God tells us we need to do, and I promise you good folks that if you aren't already doing this, don't take my word on it, believe your Father God's word. Only then my brothers and my sisters will y 'all know that doing things God's way really does work, amen.

Prayer
Dear Lord, we come to you this morning asking for you to help us help those who are trusting others, rather than trusting you. Help us show them how to grow confidence in You so that when Satan attacks them, they will victorious. In Your name Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
