GOD LIVES IN OUR HEARTS

It's good to know and feel God's presence is living in our hearts. The awesomeness and assurance that God is close to us. Knowing He's there during our struggles we encounter as we try to walk with Christ, serving Him every day to our best abilities. It's good to know God loves His children so much He will never abandon us, we're the ones who abandon God.

Melvin Ross, a young man who abandoned God after he blamed God for failing him. Melvin was raised to trust God, so he trusted God was in control and wouldn't let her die. But He did. Even though Melvin prayed his young heart out trusting God with his girlfriend’s life. But God let her die which shattered this young man’s heart into pieces. Melvin found himself alone, young, and hurt beyond any emotional pain he'd ever dealt with. To make things worse was Melvin only knew one being, a superior being that could take his pain away. However, he felt he was unable to trust in this God, for God was the one who took her away. He's the only one that could have saved her so, Melvin booted his Lord and God away. He had no trust in a God that he considered a murderer.

After a few months had passed, Melvin's heart still felt the emptiness from where God use to reside. He knew God had never left him, even when he wasn't living his life for Him. Melvin's heart knew God was real folks, he knew every time God tried to help him. But he didn't have time for a murdering God in his life anymore.

God knew he had to do something, He knew His child's faith was weakening and saw how fast he'd become dismayed. So, what did God do? God offered His child comfort and strength along with His word to renew Melvin's faith, like He promised His children He would do in His word. But Melvin refused his God's offer. See> (Isaiah 41:10)10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

There was numerous times Melvin needed God as he was growing older through the years, but he couldn't trust in a God that let him down so many years ago. Melvin never did call out to God again no matter what came upon him. And today Melvin still blames God for taking his girlfriend’s life until he stops blaming God. God will still be with him reaching out with Fatherly love, amen.

My final thoughts
There are so many folks that feel the way Mr. Melvin Ross feels today and until they choose to trust in their God again, God will always be there and He will always be in their lives. As Christians, we can only try to help someone like Melvin. We cannot, no more than God will make up that person’s mind for them, for God gave all of us our own individual free wills.

Prayer
Lord, sometimes we get so overwhelmed with the bad things that happen to us, that we blame our Father God for allowing them to happen, because He didn't answer our prayers the way we wanted Him to. Help us not to blame our Father God and to except that it was God's plan to happen or it would not have been so. Help us trust you and go on loving and serving God until we all rejoice and give you all the praise to our Father God. Keep our hearts from becoming bitter and blame Him to the point we just give up on God. In your name we pray, amen.
