Jamal Khashoggi, Not Our Problem

The alleged disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi is not our problem. The Saudi journalist was not an American citizen and, quite frankly, was no friend of the United States. He was an advocate for the Muslim Brotherhood, a radical, Islamic terrorist group with a rather long history of promoting theocratic fascism. One of their early leaders befriended Adolph Hitler and even raised a force of some 15,000 soldiers to fight for Nazi Germany. They also want to exterminate all Jews, wipe out Israel, and, when they briefly held power in Egypt, led a wave of violent attacks against Coptic Christians. So why is our Fake News Media stirring up so much digital ink about Jamal Khashoggi?

For starters, we have no idea what really happened to Khashoggi. Most of what is being reported comes from the Turkish government. Not exactly a reliable source. When it comes to the treatment of journalists, and human rights in general, Turkey is not a paradise. After the failed coup attempt about two years ago, President Erdogan had thousands of people arrested, including hundreds of journalists. Dozens of people disappeared never to be seen again. Just because we have not seen any video of Khashoggi leaving the Saudi embassy doesn′t necessarily mean he didn′t leave. For all we know, Erdogan may have had Khashoggi picked up and whisked away. I have no evidence of this, but neither do we have any actual evidence that the Saudis executed Khashoggi inside their embassy.

We have all seen how even recorded audio and video can be manipulated. This past weekend, NBC News and MSNBC tried to create a story around a small part of one sentence spoken by President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Ohio. The passage was intended to make people think that President Trump was a racist and White Supremacist by praising Confederate General Robert E. Lee. In fact, President Trump was praising General, and later President Ulysses S. Grant, a native and hero from Ohio. Yet, all day Saturday, NBC and MSNBC tried to spread their fake news.

I suspect that part of the reason why our media is making such a big deal over Jamal Khashoggi is to further paint President Trump on a bad light. Now that Justice Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court, and more revelations are coming out about how the whole Russian collusion story is a scam, the Fake News Media is trying to find something, anything, to trash President Trump. Especially with the 2018 midterm elections so near and support for the Democrat Party ′Blue Wave′ evaporating. The Media picks and chooses what they broadcast very carefully. For Barack Obama′s 8 years, some 4 Million people were being slaughtered in the Republic of Congo over control of tin oxide mines, a vital material for smart phones and tablets. Yet, not a peep from our Media about that! Now, they are all worked up about one Saudi journalist simply because he writes for the Washington Post.
