ONE GOD, OR MORE THAN ONE GOD?

I was doing some research on how many folks in the world believe and have faith in more than one god. I could never come up with an exact number but what I did learn was surprising. According to more than 2,500 censuses, surveys and population registers: The United States is home to the largest population of Christians (243 million), following the United States is Brazil, Mexico, Russia, the Philippines, Nigeria and China. There are 2.2 billion Christians (32 percent of the world’s population). There are 1.6 billion Muslims (23 percent) and 1 billion Hindus (15 percent. The censuses, survey includes many more various percentages, but I’ll stop there. I went further to find out how many religions believe in more than on god. I learned most of those religions were called Polytheism, opposite to monotheism (as Islam, Christianity and Judaism) Then I added these percentages up 32% Christian's +23% Muslims and 15% Hindus Equals approximately 70% of the worlds people believe in one god. This leaves 30% of the population to believe there is more than one god.

Our Father God clearly tells us in His word that He is the first, the last, and there are no other god’s. See> (Isaiah 44:6) 6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God… Now for myself that one scripture assured me that our Father God is truly the one and only God. So, why would 30% of the world’s population believe otherwise? Honestly, I think only God has the answer to that question. All I know for sure is that my Father God is the Father and creator of every man, woman and child who has ever lived on earth. He also stands above all and He lives inside of me and you. See> (Ephesians 4:6) 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

My final thoughts
Since we received Jesus Christ into our lives as our Lord and Savior and we strive hard to live our lives the way Jesus lived His, we are God’s children. One of the perks of becoming a child of God is the fact that God’s Holy Spirit lives in our hearts. Therefore, when we call out to Him, we know He listens. See> (Galatians 4:6) 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father… Personally I have all I can do to serve the one true God, so I’m glad there are no other God’s in my life because I wouldn’t know which God to have dedicated my life to. So that would mean I would still be lost in the sin and filth that my Savior Jesus Christ had forgiven me and cleansed my soul of. What that means is I would be miserable with the life I had chosen, and my Father God would not be in my heart inspiring this inspirational. May The one true God live in all of you; thus, our souls have eternal life with God in Heaven, amen.

Let us pray
Father God, in your word you clearly define yourself as being the one true God. The God of all creation, and those of us who choose to believe in you through our faith and trust, we ask you to guide us through your word so we may serve you. We trust your word to guide us and help us through any difficult times which we may encounter, as we strive to serve and honor your will for us. And God, through your Son Jesus Christ’s help, we want you to know your able to count on us, to lead those you bring to the one true God. In the name of your Son Jesus Christ we do pray, amen.

Picture verse See> (Isaiah 44:8) 8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
