MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT



There’s no mistake about this, as Christians we need to love each other as our Father God commands us. Make no mistake about it. See> (1 John 4:7) 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knows God. … I can understand our Father God wants His creation, mankind, to love each other, I really can. But at the same time, I understand how hard it can be for Christians to keep living righteous in every circumstance we encounter as we live our lives in light of the way our Father God instructs his Children, with love and our actions represent His holiness and righteousness. See> (Matthew 6:33) 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. … Heck, everyday I’m sure we all strive hard to live a lifestyle as Christ lived. I know not one of us is perfect, I also know our Father God knows our hearts. God knows how hard it is for most of His children, who are good people to love our enemies. See> (Luke 6:27) 27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, … I have concerns about how I would be able to love and do good deeds for my enemies that have nothing but hate in their hearts and who will rape and murder our children or make us slaves to them.




My final thoughts
So, how do we maintain living righteous? Jesus taught us that we need to live above the standards the world expects. There is only one way of doing this, that being through the power of the Holy Spirit. That’s the only way we can truly pray and love those who intend to do us harm. See> (Romans 12:14-21)14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. … This is how this old Reverend intends to handle this type of situation when it comes. I have faith in that my Lord will protect me as He’s guiding my actions.


Let us pray together
Lord, it’s good to know that you will seek vengeance on our enemies. So, we ask you ahead of time to help us gain our strength and faith as we read our Father's word. This way we are strong in you and the power of God will overcome any situation. In your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.
