DAVID'S PROMISES

Mr. David Grain always depended on His Father God’s advice, guidance, and direction in every aspect of his life. David has known his Father God ever since the fatal car accident that killed both his parents. Just before David’s father died his last words to his twelve-year-old son were, ‘David looks like I’m going to go stay with our Father God for ever soon. Your mother has already started her journey there. Son remember your Father God is always with you. See> (Matthew 28:20) 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. … And because you believe and trust our Father God, you will be able to accomplish anything or any challenges that come in life, for nothing will be impossible for you. See> (Mark 9:23) 23 Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. … Son my time here with you is nearly over, remember our Father God is all knowing. See> (Romans 11:33-34) 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? … Therefore son, you can trust and believe in your Father God. And you must always seek His knowledge, His direction, and His guidance in everything you do. See> (Psalm 32:8) 8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. … Just before Mr. Grain died, he heard his son tell him. ‘Yes father, I promise I will always trust in Father God's guidance and I will go in His direction rather than my own, knowing He will lead me down the right paths in my life. Dad I promise, and Father God I ask you to lead me now and forevermore.'

My final Thoughts
As David grew older, he never broke his promises to his father nor his Father God. David's relationship with them both grew, as the three of them were always together studying and doing good works. David always sought after his Heavenly Father's advice and guidance knowing that without it, he would lose direction. He knew he could turn away from God's righteousness for he would be lost without Him. Today David's in his mid-fifties, he has raised his family and is a proud grandpa of six grandchildren. Still today David's seeks his Heavenly Father's direction as he stays focused on doing good works as he remains dependent on his Father God's loving Grace, amen.

Let us all Pray
Father God in Heaven, we thank you from our hearts for sticking with us, for picking us up when we fall, for turning us around when we are going in the wrong way. We thank you for these things that you do for us each day that allow us to remain able to do all the things we need to do. In your name Jesus Christ we all do pray, amen.

May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's guidance. Rev James Erick
