THE CRY

Most of us have come across a stranger who has been hurt so badly over something, that it was obvious they have been crying. We do not know why, but we do know what to do, don’t we? Let me ask you something, what should we do as Christians? What would Jesus Christ do? As Christians we understand at that very moment in their lives, our Father in Heaven has placed these strangers under our care. Therefore, the next thing we do may be the only opportunity for our Lord, our Father God, The Holy Spirit, and us to offer them comfort. Since we do not know anything about them, we need to ask our Lord to help us understand their misery before we approach them, to avoid a non-frightening manner. NOTE: “The last thing we want to do is steer them away from us.”

My final thoughts
As Christians we know our Lord is with us. See> (Psalms 16: 8) 8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. … Therefore, would not our Lord be in their presence as well? ‘Answer” See> (Psalms 34:15) 15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. … Therefore, if we cry out to our Lord on their behalf over their troubles, our Lord Jesus Christ will surely hear our cry and will help them through their troubles. How? Because He hears the cries of His righteous. See> (Psalms 34:17) 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. … Folk’s, because we are our Father God’s children, we must always be ready and able to address any situation our Father in Heaven places upon us. Remember, God will never place or involve us in any circumstances which we are unable to handle with our Lord’s help, amen.

Let us all pray together ...
Dear Lord, our hearts want to please our Father in Heaven when He gives us an opportunity to help others during their troubled times. So we ask you this morning to help us understand our Father’s Word when we study, so we will be ready and able to help a stranger or someone we know receive the comfort only you can offer them. In your name Jesus Christ, we all pray. Amen.

May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's Guidance. Rev James Erick
