** WHY DID GOD SAVE YOU? **

That is a Good Question, thankfully we can find our answer when we read our Father God’s word. If I asked you why God saved you, what would your answer be? Would it be because you asked for forgiveness and accepted Jesus Christ in your life? That would be a correct answer, but wouldn't another answer be that God needs us to go out into the world performing good work as a witness of His Holiness? And then our Father in Heaven would be glorified because of our good works. See> (Matthew 5:16) 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. … God wrote instructions on how his children need to live in honor of His will, while we live in a world that does not know God as their Father God. Our Father gave us ten commandments to obey which give many of us children difficulty. I know this because we are only human. One of the commandments that gives me a hard time as I am sure it does for many Christians is written in the book of John where Jesus commands us to love one another. See> (John 13:34) 34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. … Just as most Christians have struggled with the idea of loving folks who would care less about you or would hurt you in some way. I remember when I was a young man and met a man who was extremely hard to love. I say this because the man was a lazy person who just did not want to take care of himself. Somehow while growing up he had gotten the idea of breezing in on another person's dime. It was a freezing winter night in Boston when I first saw him under my porch. He was cold and hungry, so I offered a hot meal and a warm bed. He told me his sad story and that He came to Boston to find work. Today I admit the man played me for a fool, for I let him spend three weeks living on my dime. ‘Why preacher?’ Because my Lord Jesus Christ would have loved him as a brother and helped Him put his life back together. See (John 13:35) 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

My final thoughts
As a child of God and an example to others of my Father God’s righteousness, I tried to love and accept the man as he was. I wanted him to see how man is supposed to love one another. I knew the best way to accomplish this would be to give him one more week. However once again, he did nothing towards helping his situation. At the end of his fourth week I gave him a $100.00 bill and sent him off. Still today I have no clue what became of the man. I am proud to have honored my Father in Heaven's will and his commandment that we love one another. I knew I had done what was best for the man, because our Lord would have done the same for him. After all folks, ‘it was the right way for Christians to live and love their fellow man.

Let us pray together
Lord, you know how hard it is for Christians to maintain living by the examples you yourself have shown us. But with you, we know it is not impossible to accomplish living a Christian lifestyle. So, this morning we want to thank you for always looking out and helping us through the many difficult times we have had and will have. In your name Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's Guidance
