BEATING FEAR "my personal testimony"
Fear is one of Satan's best if not his number one weapon to attack God's children with, and it is still his best weapon to keep folks under his reign. Satan has mastered his use of this weapon and that's why it is a tough one for a lot of Christians to handle. "You see folk's, everyone of us fears something.” Okay! “Stay real with me folks” You know what I'm talking about. "FEAR" affects every Christian and we're here today to learn how to defeat it."
For instance today I Fearlessly preach God's word boldly and straight to the point, without the fear that some folks won't like me or if my ears are ringing. As long as what I'm preaching is inspired by God, I am a blessed man.
That's right folk's and I'm here today to remind y'all it does not matter if Christians are 'HERE or anywhere else around the world where they serve God and honor His will... All God's children are blessed when folks 'hate' on them or don't want anything to do with them, because they actively represent Christ in their daily living. See(Luke 6:22) 22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Now folk's preaching without fear was not always the case for me, I use to allow fear to come over me when I talked about my Lord. I feared being mocked or made fun of. It wasn't until I learned how to defeat fear that I was able to serve God, honoring His requirement for me to serve Him. See(Deuteronomy 10:12)12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
For me I found a way to serve God using a gift God had given me that I never knew I had. It just came upon me the day I decided to honor God and commit to serving God. I'd always known I had a talent for writing short stories or maybe a poem or two. What I didn't know was I had received this gift to write for God to serve God, by waiting upon His inspirational guidance to write God's daily bible messages. That's when I needed to learn how 'not' to fear what other folks think, how they feel, or what they may say or even do to me when I preach about God's plan for mankind.
So how do we go about beating Fear?
The ability to defeat fear comes by the ability God gives us to grow our faith every day and become stronger than the fear we may be facing. We need to do this because fear can bring down our faith if we allow Satan the privilege to use his best weapon, 'FEAR' on us.
Remember our Lord said this, See(Matthew 21:21) 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. See(Matthew 21:22) 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive
It's not easy for us to live righteous Christian lifestyles in this evil dominated world we are living in. "GOOD NEWS FOLK'S" God knew this would be the case, so He wrote us our daily instructions on how to live as righteously as we humanly can during our time here on earth. This is why God tells everyone of His children we need to study His word and allow His words to guide our life, therefore allowing the The Holy Spirit to do His work in our lives. This will always come to play when we have the opportunities to share the gospel. If we ever lack the knowledge, all we need to do is seek God's wisdom book called the Holy Bible. Amen
My final thought
This means if we want to enjoy the best life we can, we need to have enough courage given to us by faith that enables us to defeat fear. This is why we must remember to study God's word to KEEP OUR FAITH stronger and more superior than 'FEAR' itself. This is what frees us from having fear over what other folks may think about or do to us, as we strive to live our Christian lives openly for the world to see how God's Children serve Him. See( Matthew 5:16) 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Prayer
Lord, only You can guide us to live as You did, loving and teaching about Your Father God. Without You I would be a fool to even start saying I am a Christian, simply because without You Lord, none of us could ever possibly dream of having the ability to live as witnesses for Your Father God. Lord we ask in Your name to help us continue to serve You, and for you to put the desire in our hearts to be a witness in the hearts of those who currently are lost, amen .
